New Mexico art patron Millicent Rogers (1902-1953) was a passionate collector who assembled a stellar collection of Navajo and Zuni silver and turquoise, Hopi silverwork, and Pueblo stone and shell jewellery during the late 1940s and early 1950s when fine late-nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century work could still be found.
