This is a young adult fantasy based on Native Americans beliefs in magic and magical characters. They believed in elves, witches, wizards (shamans), wind-walkers and changelings. Native Americans believed these magical beings "walk the wind" into other dimensions. The story is about a boy, living in the Adirondack Mountains, who is summoned into the magical dimension by a shaman and he shares adventures with the elves and wizards of that world.
