Aariimaa Baasanjav Marder was born in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. She is
trilingual (Mongolian, Russian and English) and holds a M.A. degree in
Liberal Arts from Mongolia State University. She taught Russian language and
literature at secondary school level in Mongolia before moving to the United
States three years ago. She resides in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
