Book Distribution

Every process, from stock control, order processing, pick and pack to despatch is physically undertaken by Gazelle personnel and recorded, ensuring a clear and transparent audit trail. This sets us apart from our competitors.

Orders are picked 5 days a week and turnaround is swift, ensuring repeat business and client loyalty. Sales are reported monthly. We work on consignment terms i.e. publishers provide us with their stock and we report sales on a monthly basis. 

Warehousing

Gazelle is always happy to store a reasonable amount of working stock at no charge. For Publishers who wish to store larger amounts, we now offer pallet storage at an extremely competitive rate. If movement of this stock is required at a later date, we are happy to arrange shipment at an affordable rate.

Shipping

For publishers using our 'all-in-one' service or with bespoke requirements, we offer free of charge the use of our freight forwarding service.To optimise shipping costs for international publishers sending stock to Gazelle’s warehouse, Gazelle has multiple consolidation centres at ports around the world. Our Publishers’ only cost is to send stock to the most convenient port.

Gazelle provies free shipping from USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. For our European Publishers, we have a consolidation centre in Germany.

Sales

The Gazelle UK sales team has long-standing relationships with the key retailers including Waterstones and Gardners, as well as multiple online retailers including Amazon, giving us a global outreach.

We have monthly sales and marketing engagements with our retailers/clients to ensure we are meeting their changing and evolving needs. International clients are managed by our internal sales team and by our representatives in Europe and the Middle East.

Book Fairs and Events

You will find Gazelle at the annual Book Fairs in London and Frankfurt. In addition, we offer support to authors who wish to organise their own launch events.

We also actively support and attend several academic society conferences to continually develop our sector knowledge.

Marketing

Probably the biggest change in business in the last decade has been the role of social media in marketing and business development.

Publishers using our 'all-in-one' have full access to Gazelle’s marketing team, who are dynamic and fully versed of maximising the potential of Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Our team actively interacts with our publishers, be it by preparing the groundwork of impending titles, maximising current trends or promoting newly released titles by means of social media and brochures.

We absolutely share our Publishers’ passion and drive to sell books and to this end we have developed a range of promotional services including subject-specific catalogues and email campaigns.
